What you will need: 

1. Valid US passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of entry and at least 3 or more blank pages
2. Proof of USA residency permit is required if traveling with non-USA passport.
3. Suriname Visa Application Form- One (1) duly filled and signed application form. Click Suriname_Application for the application.  Because the application changes on occasion, we’ve also provided a link to the  Suriname Embassy Website so you may get the most recent version directly from the Embassy website.
4. Recent passport-size photograph must be attached.
5. Copy of your round trip airline ticket or travel agent itinerary to Suriname showing traveler’s name as well as travel information.
6. For children up to 17 years of age:
   The following documents are required to support the visa application of a child to enter Suriname:

• Birth Certificate showing the names of both parents
• Copy of legal documents pertaining to custody, where, when, if applicable
• Legalized letter of consent:
• If child is travelling with one parent, the letter of consent authorizing travel must be legalized by the other parent
• If child is travelling alone or without either parent, a notarized letter of consent from both parents permitting travel
• Death Certificate, in case one or both parents are deceased.

6. Business Invitation. Copy of business invitation from the host company in Suriname explaining the purpose of the trip, dates of travel, and guaranteeing sufficient funds   
7. Business Letter. Copy of the business letter from the sending company in the US explaining the purpose of the trip, dates of travel, and guaranteeing sufficient funds Business Letter must detail the following:

• Must specify if you are attending a conference, training, or meetings
• If you plan to negotiate business
• If your business visit will be exploratory
• Length of Work Assignment (Assignment cannot exceed more than 90 (ninety) days. )

Suriname Consular Fees:

• Tourist or Business Visa, 5 Year Multiple Entry- $100.00

Non- US Passport Holders:

• Tourist Visa,  Multiple Entry (2 Months ) validity- $45.00
• Tourist Visa,  Multiple Entry (1 Year ) validity- $210.00
• Business Visa,  Multiple Entry (2 Months ) validity- $60.00
• Business Visa, Multiple Entry (2 Years) Validity- $360
