What you will need: 

1. U.S. Passport – You must provide your signed passport. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months and have two adjacent blank pages available.
2. Republic of Congo Visa Application Forms – Please provide two (2) completed visa application form; click herefor a .pdf of the application. Because the application changes on occasion, we’ve also provided a link to the Republic of Congo Embassy website so you may get the most recent version directly from the Embassy website. The application form must be filled out completely and have answers for all fields. It must display your full name as appears in your passport, and it must be signed.
3. Washington Express Visas Visa Request Form – filled out completely.
4. Photograph Please provide two (2) color, passport size photos. The photograph must be printed on photo paper, it must be 2″ by 2″ and have a white background, and it must have been taken in the last 6 months.
5. Copy of your airline ticket or travel agent itinerary showing your name as well as travel information.
6. An Invitation letter or Hotel Reservation- A typewritten and notarized invitation letter ( the invitation letter should be notarized at the City council or Prefecture/Mairie)  stating the nature of the trip, the name and address of a reference to be visited in the Republic of Congo. The invitation letter must be addressed to the Embassy of the Republic of Congo, Visa section and should be at least 3 months ( 90 Days) valid.

A typewritten and notarized business letter ( the business letter should be notarized at the City Council or at the Prefecture/Mairie)  on company letterhead stating the nature of business to be performed, the name and address of a reference to be contacted in the Republic of Congo. The invitation letter must be addressed to the Embassy of the Republic of Congo, Visa section. No business visa will be granted without an official business letter and please be aware that the business invitation letter should be at least 3 months valid
6. Copy of your airline ticket or travel agent itinerary showing your name as well as travel information.

Republic of Congo Consular Fees:

• Three (3) Month Entry Visa (Non-US Citizens)- $200.00
• Six (6) Month Entry Visa (US Citizens)  – $200.00
