What you will need: 

  1. U.S. Passport – You must provide your signed passport. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months and have two adjacent blank pages available.
  2. Photograph – Please provide 2 (two) color, passport size photos. The photograph must be printed on photo paper, it must be 2″ by 2″ and have a white background, and it must have been taken in the last 6 months.
  3. Washington Express Visas Visa Request Form – filled out completely.
  4. Ivory Coast Visa Application Form – Complete 2 (two) applications completely, and sign. Ivory Coast now accept payments online. You can pay online, print your payment confirmation and attach it to your visa application.
  5. Proof of legal stay or residence status (applicable to those not applying for the visa in their country of citizenship). For example a notarized copy of Green Card.
  6. Copy of your airline ticket or travel agent itinerary showing your name as well as travel information.
  7. Copy of hotel confirmation showing your name and dates for the entire trip or a letter of invitation from your host.
  8. Copy of driver’s license, state issued ID, or major utility bill (Water, Gas, Electric, Sewage), showing the applicant’s name and current address.
  9. International Certificate of vaccination against Yellow Fever.

Business letter of introduction from your company (on company letterhead) addressed to the Embassy of Ivory Coast stating the purpose of travel, the name and contact of the company in Ivory Coast you’re visiting, and a financial guarantee for all of your expenses. Click here to see a sample business letter.  The letter and your visa application must specify single, double, or multiple entry for six months or one year.
  6. Letter of invitation from the company/entity in Ivory Coast addressed to the Embassy of Ivory Coast. The letter must state the purpose of travel, the name and contact of the company in Ivory Coast you are visiting, and a financial guarantee for all your expenses. The letter and your visa application must specify single, double, or multiple entry for six months or one year.

No vaccinations are required to enter Ivory Coast from any country.

Recommended:

  • Malaria prophylaxis. Limited malaria risk – exclusively in the benign (P. vivax) form – exists during the summer months in Ardebil and East Azerbaijan provinces north of the Zagros mountains. Malaria risk in the malignant (P. falciparum) form exists from March to November in rural areas in the provinces of Sistan-Baluchestan and Hormozgan and Kerman (tropical part). Chloroquine and sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine-resistant P. falciparum reported.  Recommended prevention: II in P. vivax risk areas; IV in P. falciparum risk areas.
  • Passport and/or passports replacing documents must be valid for at least 6 months after the period of intended stay.

Visa Issuance:

  • Visitors must hold return/onward tickets and all documents required for their next destination, as well as sufficient funds to cover their stay in Iran.

Warning:

  • Non-compliance with entry/transit regulations will result in fines of USD 500.- and passenger will be deported at carrier’s expense.
