Since 9/11 there has been an increased of security in our country and abroad. The Department of State and Homeland Security has made efforts to make visa requirements that ultimately provide safety. No area in which visas are required is being overlooked. This includes business. The maritime industry has received a new version of the B-1 visa for foreign citizens visiting the United States for business purposes.
